Privacy & website analytics
This website does not ask you to create an account or fill in a form. We use Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages are useful. It records pages viewed, approximate location, device type and the site that referred you — including AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude. It does not record your name, phone number or what you write to us.

What is recorded
When you open a page, Google Analytics 4 records the page address, the time of the visit, your approximate city and country (derived from your IP address, which Google does not store for Analytics), your browser, device and screen size, and the website or app that sent you here. If you came from an AI assistant, the assistant’s name (for example “chatgpt” or “perplexity”) is recorded as the source. We also count clicks on our phone number, email address and WhatsApp button, without recording the conversation that follows.
Why we use it
To see which guides people read, which searches and AI tools lead them here, and where pages need to be clearer. We do not use the data for advertising, we have switched off Google’s advertising features, and we do not sell or share it.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) to tell one visit from another. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are not given analytics cookies; for them only anonymous, cookieless measurements are sent.
How long data is kept
Visit-level data is kept in Google Analytics for no more than 14 months and is then deleted automatically. Aggregated totals (for example, monthly visits to a page) may be kept longer.
How to opt out
You can block analytics with your browser’s privacy settings or a content blocker, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works fully without it.
When you contact us
If you call, email or message us on WhatsApp, what you tell us is handled as part of a lawyer–client enquiry and kept confidential. It is not added to website analytics.
